The Winklepickers are a fun, lively and highly entertaining band who are the perfect choice for any event. Combining incredible male vocals with guitar, double bass, drums, sax, and keys, the band perform a variety of classic and upbeat tunes from the 50’s to current day. From Sinatra to Sheeran, Presley to Pharrell Williams, The Winklepickers can do it all whilst adding their unique touch which will leave your guests talking about your event for years to come!
After playing together for over ten years at literally hundreds of performances, these guys know just what to play to get your event going. They have travelled the world and worked with global companies Mark & Spencer, Harvey Nichols and Gumtree to name just a few at venues such as The Ritz, The Barbican Centre, Millbank Tower, Merchant Taylors Hall and The Institute Of Contemporary Art.
From huge awards ceremonies to intimate unplugged campsite performances, weddings, funerals, bar mitzvahs, engagement parties, birthday parties, product launches, charity fundraisers, golf, rugby and football club events, The Winklepickers have seen it all and have your event totally covered.
With their smart, matching, retro look as seen in the video and photos, the band bring a sense of professionalism and style to the stage with them. Even before they start playing The Winklepickers will add a touch of class to your event.
Available from a Duo up to the full five piece band, The Winklepickers can cater for any event and budget. And with the ability to play easy listening jazz suitable for a drinks reception all the way up to dance-floor filling party music, they can tailor their performances to suit your needs precisely.
The band is composed of highly skilled professionals who have an impressive history in the entertainment industry. The frontman honed his skills touring arenas and supporting acts such as Status Quo and Simply Red, and contributed to an album by Grammy award-winning Coldplay producer Ken Nelson. Other band members have worked with Pixie Lott, Ed Sheeran, Shola Ama and Bad Company, and played to 25,000 people at the opening ceremony of the Cricket World Cup in Jamaica.
To guarantee that booking the entertainment for your occasion is easy, The Winklepickers provide the PA, lighting and background music before, between and after sets. Public Liability Insurance, PAT tests and a risk assessment are all available upon request.
